This will be a great evening to celebrate the new year and
your hard work selling wreaths! Bring your friends and siblings, aunts, uncles and grandparents. The pack will cover the cost for all the Cub Scouts and it is only $5 for everyone else.

Outdoor Cooking 2007!
Join us at Ritter Park for our annual ourdoor cooking event at Ritter Park on Friday October 12. The chopping, mixing and browning will begin at 5:00. Older scouts with the more complicated meals may want to get there earlier.

Q: What did the Cub Scout have to do to earn the bicycling badge?
A: A good turn!

The Nightmare before Christmas is back!
December 7, 2007 - 7:00 pm

Our 2007 celebration will feature classics from the past and several new things like bobbing for for candy in whipped cream. The rubber chickens may also make an appearance and, of course, the popular and festive "Room of Doom".

Remember we would like everyone to bring at least one cake/pan of bars/cookies for the legendary cake walk. Our goal is that every kid gets a cake. Last year was amazing and great fun!

This year we will also be collecting toys for "Toys for Tots". If you are able please bring a toy to be given to another child this year. Questions or concerns?  Let me know cubmaster@pack263.org

 

Pack 263 - Family Camp at Cleary Lake July 21, 22 and 23, 2006 Rocked!
If you missed it this summer, start getting ready for next summer. It was a fantastic outdoor weeked of fun, cooking, games, hikes, star watching and Scout Skills. Don't miss it!

Activities began around between 5:30 and 6:00 on Friday night with setting up our tents, opening flag raising and cooking our evening meal.


(PARENT NOTE: Don't even ask if we cancel due to weather. Rain, snow or shine the event is happening! The only exception is if there is an active tornado in the area. Then we will discuss it.)

Pinewood Derby 2006 was a success!
Okay it ran a little long but still it was fun! Our fastest four racers were Zach Amborn, Derek Flattum, David Bock and Ike Eichenberger. The first alternate is Zach Yarnes and the second is Aaron Anderson. For a complete list of results click here. The district race is on April 1 at McGuire Middle School in Lakeville.

Ritter Park outdoor events and Cooking

JOIN SCOUTING NIGHT, 2003
Once again we had a great night with 20 new scouts joining our pack!  Welcome everyone!  We gathered to meet your new den leaders and to build your own model rocket.

GRADUATION AT RITTER PARK, 2003
Friday April 25th was a great transition time as our all of our scout moved to the next level of scouting and survive the trials of the scouts.  (Not to mention the magic tricks and jokes! The bear blood was extra cool this year and all the Webelos have now healed from their arrow wounds.)

PINEWOOD DERBY, 2003
Friday March 21st was another great Pinewood derby for our pack!WE SURVIVED!

Friday November 22nd at 6:30 pm was our annual Raingutter Regatta (Tigers, Wolves, Bears) and Space Derby (Webelos).  Hightlites are on the way!

Wow!  What a first pack meeting of the year!  A great big thank you to Chad for building the Pack 263 penta-launch pad!  And thank you to all the parents and leaders for jumping in to make it a memorable evening for the scouts.   (Okay, next year we will start earlier, avoid outdoor concerts and BRING MORE BUG SPRAY!)  Still they all went up!  If you never did get your rocket back, please let me know cubmaster@pack263.org and we will get you a new one.

This is a two-night weekend camp.

A weekend program for graduating Tiger, Wolf, and Bear Cubs (as of Spring). Camp Akela is a unique opportunity for Cub Scouts and their accompanying adult to spend quality time together working on advancement, enjoying recreational activities and learning about camping. Enjoy life in the outdoors in "Canvas Cottages" with your pack or den. Food service is provided in the dining hall.

LAKEVILLE PARK CLEAN UP - Saturday, April 20 was a great success!
It was a bit nippy, but we still had a great time!  A big thank you to everyone that helped this year. GRADUATION and SCOUTING FOR FOOD - April 26 and 27th made for a big Cub Scout weekend!
Though the weather was nice for the inside part and cruddy for the outside part it was great and we collected a bunch of food!  Thank you to everyone!  Pictures will be coming soon.    THE SCOUT OLYMPICS - May 24th
Our pack played several outdoor games that are not only fun but will apply for belt loops and patches!
